Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement front and back-end software applications
• Design software system architecture
• High-level programming, performance testing, and system integration
• Design and build infrastructure tailored to enterprise-level data handling and customer interaction
• Overcome scalability and cost challenges in data-intensive applications
• Participate in rotating on-call incident response
• Design and implement scalable web services, applications, and APIs using Next.js, Firestore, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Educate and lead efforts to improve system capabilities and performance
• Implement best practices for data management and integration
• Collect, aggregate, and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
• Collaborate with an engineering team to refine application features

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in fullstack engineering
• Experience in designing, automating, and optimizing data-intensive platforms
• Proficiency in Next.js (or React), Firebase, Node.js, TypeScript
• Knowledge in DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and deployment automation
• Experience in identifying and resolving issues in distributed systems
• Experience with using LLMs, preferably with experience in utilizing LLM APIs for both personal and professional purposes.
