Data Collection (With Your Explicit Consent)

  • Product URLs you choose to analyze on Amazon pages
  • Product information (titles, prices, ratings) from pages you analyze
  • Email address (only if you optionally sign in for account sync)
  • Search history stored locally on your device
  • Extension settings and preferences (language, search mode)

Data Storage

  • Local Storage: Search history and preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
  • Server Storage: Product analysis requests are processed on secure servers and retained for 30 days for service functionality.
  • Authentication: If you sign in, authentication tokens are stored locally and securely managed by Firebase Authentication.
  • Consent Records: Your consent preferences are stored locally and on our servers for legal compliance (retained for 7 years as required by law).

Your Rights Regarding Extension Data

  • Export Your Data: Download all your extension data in JSON format via the Settings page in the extension popup.
  • Delete Your Data: Permanently delete all your data (both local and server-side) via the Settings page or by contacting us.
  • Revoke Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time through the Settings page. This will disable the extension's functionality.
  • Access Your Data: Request a copy of all personal information we hold about you by using the export feature or contacting us.
  • Correct Your Data: Request corrections to any inaccurate personal information.
  • File a Complaint: Contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.

Children's Privacy

Our service does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals of any age. As we do not collect or store personal data, our platform is appropriate for all age groups without additional parental consent requirements.
